Freelance Logo Projects

Some of my past logo projects for clients have involved a careful blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and attention to detail. Each project presented a unique challenge, requiring me to delve into the client's brand identity, target audience, and industry trends. By immersing myself in these key elements, I was able to produce visually appealing and memorable logos that effectively communicated the client's message. Whether it was designing a sleek and minimalist logo for a startup, or a powerful icon for a school I always strived to create logos that not only looked visually stunning, but also resonated with the client's audience. From sketching initial concepts to refining them in digital form, I meticulously honed every detail to ensure that the final logo accurately reflected the client's vision while also making a lasting impact in the competitive market.

Client: Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab Year: 2019

The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab tasked me with creating a logo for their BeHAVE Lab, a department focused on research in cognition within advanced environments. The brief called for a modern, minimalist design that incorporates the lab's name, "BeHAVE Lab," and reflects their work in brain imaging and cyber environments. The color palette included gray, blue, and yellow, and the logo needed to be versatile enough for applications like frosting on glass. I developed a clean, contemporary logo that incorporates a brain motif and cyber connections, aligning with their research focus while ensuring the design stands out. The result was a sleek, functional logo that met the client's expectations.

Client: Lakelands Park Middle School Year: 2020

I was tasked with creating a new logo and identity for Lakelands Park Middle School, replacing their generic falcon logo with a design that truly stood out. The goal was to develop a fierce, distinctive falcon logo that incorporated the school's colors. Given that the falcon is a common mascot, I focused on differentiating this design through unique elements and careful attention to detail. After multiple iterations and close collaboration with the school, I developed both a falcon head logo and a full-body falcon logo for versatility across different applications. The client was very pleased with the final outcome.

Client: Eric Z. Year: 2023

A former D1 football player approached me to design a badge-style logo for his summer football camp, aiming for a sleek and standout design. The brief specified a triangular badge shape featuring a football field with lines and hashes, along with a full-body player in motion, wearing a "2 bar" helmet with a dark visor. The player’s uniform should include specific accessories like gloves, arm sleeves, and a leg sleeve. The color scheme was primarily black and white for simplicity, with an option to incorporate red or another accent color. The final design successfully captured the dynamic and professional look the client desired, resulting in a unique and impactful logo for the camp.

Client: John F. Kennedy High School Tennis Team Year: 2024

Kennedy High School approached me to design a new logo for their tennis team, seeking something fresh and standout compared to their existing, more generic sports logos. The brief called for a shield design featuring elements that represent their mascot, "The Cavaliers," including swords and a prominent "K" lettering. Options included placing the "K" at the top or center of the shield, incorporating a cavalier head, or dividing the shield into quarters, possibly with a tennis ball as one of the elements. The logo needed to be versatile, serving as a primary icon for the tennis team while incorporating tennis-specific details. Additionally, the client requested versions with and without the "Kennedy Tennis" text outside the logo. The final design provided a dynamic and distinctive identity for the team, far surpassing the generic logos of the past.
